Computer maker Fujitsu Siemens has announced a new programme which will see anyone who buys one of its new LifeBook laptops given a free replacement every three years for life.
The LifeBook4Life deal involves customers upgrading their warranty from a one-year to a three-year collect-and-return policy, which will cost around £40 to cover a LifeBook S6420.
Fujitsu Siemens UK's head of product marketing, Paul Hoey, said the programme demonstrates the company's "complete confidence" in the quality and reliability of its systems.
He said in a statement: "LifeBook4Life is quite simply our way of showing customers that we value their business and their loyalty and ensuring that, providing they have been happy with what their LifeBook has delivered over those first three years, they have no reason to switch to any other vendor."
The company is also offering a deal on its Esprimo notebook and desktop computers which offers customers free repairs and a full refund in the event of a system failure during the standard warranty period.
To qualify for either deal, customers need to register their computers within 21 days of purchase, and by the deadline of the end of March next year.
